Zimbabwe Tours
The charm of Zimbabwe lies in its spectacular natural beauty, scenery and great diversity. For the tourist, it is a land that will captivate and enchant you with its interesting culture, African traditions and mysteries.

Situated on a high plateau, the country’s terrain consists primarily of grasslands bordered on the east by mountains and the mighty Zambezi River to the northeast. The central zone of hills gives rise to many rivers, which drain into the man-made Lake Kariba to the northwest, the marshes of Botswana to the west or into the Zambezi River.

Visiting the legendary Victoria Falls is a must. This ferocious curtain of water seventeen hundred meters wide plunges deep into the gorge of the Zambezi below, offer a specatacular and awesome display of power to impress photographers and sight-seeing tourists alike, and the nearby resort town has become one of Southern Africa’s most exciting adventure destinations. Downstream, Lake Kariba is a huge inland sea adorned with open skies and spectacular sunsets. Head towards the eastern highlands for fine walking and fishing country among the cool mountains of Nyanga and Chimanimani, along the Mozambique border.

Walk and drive amongst dozens of species of wildlife in the many national parks, namely Hwange, Matusadona and Mana Pools. Adrenaline junkies can experience the pure thrill of adventure while white water rafting, bungee jumping or jet boating along the Zambezi River. On top of all this, Zimbabwe enjoys some of the cleanest and most spacious cities in the whole of Africa, offering hotels and restaurants of a truly international standard.

Harare is Zimbabwe’s commercial and industrial centre and also the usual starting point for any visit. Zimbabwe’s second city, Bulawayo, is a major commercial, industrial and tourist centre. The city is home to the National Museum and headquarters of the National Railways of Zimbabwe.

Despite recent political upheavals, Zimbabwe remains a surprisingly safe and welcoming destination for the tourist. For a country of its size, there is a surprisingly good tourist infrastructure offering a wide range of options at unbeatable value.
