Safari camps

Jaci’s Safari Lodge
This lodge, in the Madikwe Reserve, blends masterfully into its surroundings with the main area built around an ancient termite mound. There are eight large rooms all built with shaggy thatched roofs, canvas walls and large tented windows. The main lodge consists of a spacious lounge and open-plan dining area with uninterrupted views of the bush. There is also the Tree Lodge here, with each house constructed on stilts six metres above the ground. Enjoy the open plan bathroom with its jungle shower.


Hluhluwe River Lodge

Hluhluwe River lodge
This exclusive hideaway has eight double chalets, two family chalets and two honeymoon chalets. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, mini bar and kitchenette, and private balconies with views over indigenous gardens. The honeymoon chalets have Victorian style bathrooms leading out onto a private deck.

Gorah Eelephant lodge
This is a premier lodge set in the heart of the Addo Elephant Park. The romantic atmosphere of the ten luxurious tented suites recalls the golden era of safari in the early 1900s, with the comfort and excellence associated with Africa's finest game lodges. Dining is by candlelight in the elegant dining room or on the veranda overlooking the waterhole.

Djuma bush lodge
A luxurious family lodge situated in the Djuma reserve, part of the Kruger National Park. It comprises of eight thatched chalets all with en-suite rooms, air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito nets. There are two viewing decks, as well as a library and a magnificent swimming pool.

Ulusaba Rock Lodge
Perched high on the summit of a koppie (rocky hill) in the Ulusaba reserve, this lodge is within a national park. Here you will find spectacular panoramic views over miles of bush, the wildlife roaming within, all set against a backdrop of the Drakensberg mountain range. Kwazulu Natal coast and parks

Resorts: the main holiday resorts of Ballito, Salt Rock and Umhlanga Rocks all offer five star hotels, however, various forms of self-catering accommodation is often preferred amongst local holidaymakers. We can suggest a wide selection upon request.

Phinda lodges: Phinda private game reserve has four lodges all situated in the greater St Lucia Wetland Park – a UNESCO world Heritage site. Phinda Forest Lodge is situated in the depths of the botanically unique Sand Forest with bedroom suites hand built on small stilts by the Zulu people. The ingenious stone and wood cliff chalets of Phinda Rock Lodge are chiselled into the rock face overlooking the impressive Leopard Rock. The Mountain Lodge has subtle ethnic décor and offers stunning views of the ash blue Lebombo Mountains. At the Vlei Lodge, suites of thatch, teak and glass built on stilts overlook a unique vlei or pan system. On the verge of a forest, this century old wetland wilderness is a favourite roaming ground of lightning fast cheetah.


Phinda lodges

Rocktail bay lodge:
This lovely lodge is situated in the northern reaches of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, metres inland from the warm Indian Ocean. Accommodation is in 11 tree house chalets. Each en-suite room has its own private balcony and an additional outdoor shower in the forest. The main area of the lodge has an inviting lounge, and meals are enjoyed either in the separate dining room, at the poolside or under a huge Mahogany tree.
