The Blue Train
This famous train is unique, combining the luxury of the world’s

The Blue Train travels on four return routes: Pretoria
- Cape Town (1 day and 1 night);

Board the Blue Train in the jacaranda city of Pretoria and travel south
through farmlands and along the 'golden arc' of Johannesburg, revealed
only by the mining shafts in the distance. The afternoon passes as
you cross svannah plains and farm land eventually arriving in Kimberly
- once the epicenter of a worldwide diamond rush and then continue
southwards through the moody and desolate but beautiful great Karoo
desert.
Awaken to the sight of vineyards and orchards as you descend through
mysterious and beautiful valleys and mountains, such as Drakenstein,
Slanghoek and Elandskloof - towards Cape Town's imposing and instantly
recognisable Table Mountain.
Heading north, follow in the footsteps of explorer, Dr. David Livingstone,
as you journey deep into the African continent in quest of the greatest
curtain of falling water on earth - the Victoria Falls. Stopover on
an excursion at Hwange National Park, home to more than a 100 species
of mammals and one of Africa's last great elephant sanctuaries.
From Cape Town you also have the option of departing to the world's
famous Cango Caves where a one hour tour of this spectacular underground
world will be taken.
