Botswana is a land locked country, dominated in geographical terms
by the Kalahari Desert where nomadic hunter-gatherers, lions and golden
grasslands co-exist under the canopy of a penetrating blue sky. Botswana's
capital, Gaborone, lies in a flat valley in southern Botswana close
to the South African border. It is a young, vibrant city with an array
of excellent hotels, world class casinos, and in close proximity to
many traditional villages of southeastern Botswana.
