Tamba Africa was founded in 1995 by Danila and Mark Blagus and is
based in Cape Town, South Africa. Danila has more than 10 years experience
in the safari business and travel industry, having worked in both
South Africa and Zimbabwe. Mark is a trained hotelier whose previous
appointments have included an executive position with Sable Safaris
Hotel and Resort Group (Zimbabwe) and manager of the prestigious Bay
restaurant in Cape Town. Together they also own and manage a luxury
guesthouse in the Cape Town city bowl.
The company specialises in game safaris and tours to national parks
and private lodges in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia,
Mozambique and Zanzibar, drawing on extensive personal knowledge and
experience, together with a passion for the African bushveld. Tours
are custom designed to cater for families, couples, individuals, or
groups and are tailored to suit all budgets; from self catering units
to luxury game camps. With a high proportion of repeat business and
recommendation from European and US based tour operators, Tamba Africa
